Hi @zuberi2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Based on your description — three blinking lights, wireless light not blinking, printer not operational, and a “Double E” (EE) error code on the display — your HP printer is reporting a serious internal error, likely related to the cartridge carriage or a printhead system failure.

1. Check for Carriage Obstructions

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  3. Gently slide the ink carriage left and right.
  4. Remove any paper scraps, labels, or obstructions.
  5. Ensure the carriage latch is properly secured (if present).

⚠️ Do not force the carriage if it feels stuck—it could damage the printer.

 2. Reset the Printer

  1. Unplug the printer from power.
  2. Wait 60 seconds.
  3. Plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector).
  4. Turn it on and check if the error clears.

3. Check Ink Cartridges

  • Remove and reseat both cartridges.
  • Make sure they are genuine HP and properly installed.
  • Clean the cartridge contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
