Based on your description — three blinking lights, wireless light not blinking, printer not operational, and a “Double E” (EE) error code on the display — your HP printer is reporting a serious internal error, likely related to the cartridge carriage or a printhead system failure.
1. Check for Carriage Obstructions
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Gently slide the ink carriage left and right.
- Remove any paper scraps, labels, or obstructions.
- Ensure the carriage latch is properly secured (if present).
⚠️ Do not force the carriage if it feels stuck—it could damage the printer.
2. Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer from power.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector).
- Turn it on and check if the error clears.
3. Check Ink Cartridges
- Remove and reseat both cartridges.
- Make sure they are genuine HP and properly installed.
- Clean the cartridge contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.
