HP Office Jet 3830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to do a double sided print. I know that the 3830 requires a MANUAL feeding of the paper to print the second side.

HOWEVER, when I click on the option to do 2-sided printing, it ONLY prints in BLACK & WHITE. I cannot figure out how to get it to print in color.

If I set the printer to just print x # of copies of side 1, then re-feed the paper and tell it to print x # of copies of side 2, it prints in color just fine.

Apparently, it is something I am missing that I need to click on the make sure the 2-sided printing prints in color.

And I do know about the check box to print in gray scale and it is NOT checked.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
