Hello Sandytechy

Thank you so much for your help. The model number is HP OfficeJet Pro 8022, and the product number is 1KR65B.

Perform a power reset , Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

No it does not work. Tried all ways of update you have suggested. Even the Print and Scan Doctor "Get Installer" button direct me to a 404. And HP has no way to support users apart from this community thing. I would recommend everyone who see this post never buy any HP printer, and if possible, all kinds of HP products. They just don't work.

Say for example, if you choose the virtual agent, it only allows you to select 4 problems. If you say others, it says it doesnt' understand, and force you to choose among these 4. What kind of smart agent is this?

I downloaded the online driver, it says there is network problem.

All HP keeps on asking me is to have me subscribe that instant ink. THey only want to grab money from their user, and find a good timing to make a update which doesn't work, but force you to update anyway, and if you can't update it, you can't use its product anymore.

Definitely rubbish and a scam.

Hello Sandy

Thank you for your prompt reply. I check the mailbox but there is nothing. I click also at the email that says there is a private message, and I see the screen below.

I appreciate your response very much, but it seems that nothing at HP works. No good employee can save HP. 🙂
