I am an instant ink customer. HP has sent me a dud cartridge. I have installed the new tri colour cartridge but my printer LCD screen shows message that "…Cartridge(s) must be replaced…" The instant ink website shows a message "Either an ink cartridge is not installed or there is an issue with the installed cartridge. Replace or clean the cartridge to resolve the issue" I have tried removing and cleaning the unit but that had no effect. I have found that the old cartridge works although it is low on ink.
None of the support link web pages I have found have a suggestion to record that an instant ink cartridge doesn't work. There is no phone contact number.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,
Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges. Log into the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower right of the opening screen.
