Hi all,

1st of all Happy New Year 

Recently, I noticed a problem with HP Laser Printer 477. It doesn't support automatic Duplex printing anymore and always asks for manual Duplex. I have updated the driver and checked all options on the PC. I have used HPDR assist and have done all checks successfully with no problems.

any help, please

What is the exact printer model you are referring to, not all 477 support automatic duplex.

Printer model:

LaserJet MFP M477fdw

it supports the Duplex, it was printing duplex before and suddenly stopped ?? dont know why ?

For Microsoft OS check the automatic two sided is Installed , sometimes it goes to not installed after an update.

On your computer

Go to control panel>devices and printers (on windows 11 you must right click and select "open". Right click on the icon for your printer and click "printer properties" and you should see the screen shot posted by @Valsimot
