Duplexer not working in Linux

Brand new OJ7110 printer. Installed as usb-wired into Ubuntu 16.04 Linux.

Printing from Open Office (like MSWord) or frmo a PDF veiwer when converted to a PDF.

The duplexer is set to "installed" in both my linux print manager and the Hplip driver that covers all HP printers in Linux.

In the HPLip Toolbox, the setting for duplex is set to on but greyed out.

When I print documents double-sided, they come out single-sided.

I've tried this about 10 times, altering settings each time.

It DID duplex once, in the beginning, but pushed the paper out of alignment and then gave a paper-error light.

Is there some setting that I am missing?

Am I sending this printer back to the supplier with a "not as described" complaint?

Hi Scot,

Have you purchase the optional Duplex printing accessory for your printer? (C7F18A)

The HP Officejet 7110 printer have an optional accessory available, it is not included with the printer:

Thanks for that Shlomi.  I did not realise that the printer needed an optional extra to print duplex.  The online store where I bought it did not know that either when they advertised it as being capable of duplex printing.  I have now contacted them and they are updating their website.  I have ordered the duplexer.
