Hi @BuffNGreen,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your HP Envy 6055e printer, specifically with error code E0 and a flashing light EQ after installing a new cartridge. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Make sure the cartridges are properly installed. Remove and reinsert them carefully.
  • Ensure that you've removed any protective tapes or seals on the new cartridge.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues.

Clean Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Remove the cartridges and clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and the printer with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinstall the cartridges and turn on the printer.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams in the printer. Even a small piece of paper can cause issues.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
