Hi @Tanguy2,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Ensure that both ink cartridges (tri-color and black) are properly seated in their corresponding slots.
- Remove and reinstall the cartridges to make sure they are correctly positioned.
Clean Ink Cartridge Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove the ink cartridges.
- Use a clean, lint-free cloth or cotton swab slightly dampened with distilled water to clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
- Clean the contacts inside the printer where the cartridges go.
- Wait for the cleaned areas to dry completely before reinstalling the cartridges.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Perform a Printer Alignment:
- After reinstalling the cartridges, the printer might prompt you to align them.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to perform an alignment.
Update Printer Firmware:
