Product: HP ENVY 6020 All-in-One Printer

The printer (hp envy 6020) suddenly showed the E3 error code. I checked and no obstructions were present in the carriage path (which can slide from side to side without any problems). I tried to reset the printer as suggested in many answers to the same problem, and the procedure did not work.
