HP ENVY Pro 6452 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Hey, I cannot for the life of me get a hold of anyone on support. We just got a HP Envy Pro 6452 All-In-One Printer, and it's still under warrenty, but I can't get ahold of anyone to help troubleshoot it. Whenever it boots up, there's a sound it makes like it's not properly aligning itself. Then the light will turn orange/yellow with error code E5 meaning the scanner is not working. Can someone please help?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting an E5 error, I am glad to assist you.

Reset the printer

Turn off the printer, wait, and then turn it on again.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the power source.

Wait for 60 seconds.

Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

Wait for the printer to fully turn on. The Edge lighting will turn from green to blue-white/white.

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates
