Officejet 6500A E709n
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
My 10year's old E709n has changed 2 printheads during the past. Last one was changed early 2019. Suddenly last month the message printhead missing or damaged... appeared again. I tried to clean printhead with no result. Then I ordered an new CN643A printhead and when I installed it, the same message appeared. Possibly I bought an already damaged printhead or something else may be damaged?

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately Customer Support informed me that a 9 years old printer is too old and also out of technical support and spare parts. This happened a long time ago, at 2013, 3 years after my purchase. I feel sorry to be informed that HP, such a big manufacturer, withdraws technical support of a "mid range" product Officejet series almost 4 years after initial presentation of the model! finally it is also unacceptable for the customer when buying a product from HP that does not even know approximately when his new printer is going to be out of technical support & spare parts.
