HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer

Been dealing with this error code since hooking up the printer a few months ago. In the go app it says to “finish Setup” on the printer icon  then I get the error code below. I have done update on firmware. WiFi if good. I have done restarts, reboots, delete and re adding the printer with no luck.IMG_1123.jpeg

Hi @707Billy

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you're encountering a technical glitch during the HP Smart setup process, specifically with the error code EBS00P0013

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart Your Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and Wi-Fi router. Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn them back on.

Update the HP Smart App:

  • Ensure you're using the latest version of the HP Smart app. Visit the HP Smart App page and download any available updates.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the app from your device, then reinstall it. This can often fix persistent errors.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and that your printer and device are connected to the same 2.4 GHz network (some printers do not support 5 GHz).

Try a Different Setup Method:

  • If the setup issue persists, consider setting up your printer via the printer's control panel or web interface. Refer to your printer's user manual for guidance.

Clear the Printer Queue:

  • If your computer retains a failed setup session, clear any pending printer setups from the Devices and Printers section in your system settings.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,
