Yesterday, July 3rd my HP ENVY 110 e-ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER D411 completed a print job. Today, July 4th I keep getting an “ink carriage jam.” After viewing the HP YouTube Video “Fixing a Carriage Jam | HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Printer (D410a) | HP.” I carefully went through all the steps several time. This did not correct the problem. After watching several non-HP videos, it seems that a part that sticks up prevents the ink carriage from going all the way to the left. How can I fix the problem?

@hross455, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the print carriage is not moving freely. Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Carriage jam or E3 error
Also, check for any loose objects or paper jams.
If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Thank you for replying. For a hard reset, I have numerous times followed the exact instructions. I also have made sure there is no loose objects or paper jams. The ink cartridge carriage moves freely, except it does not go all the way to the right. There is a part that sticks up preventing it from doing so. The part that sticks up is on a part that has a foam pad on it, has a small spring on it and can be slide front to back. I would guess the pad cleans the ink cartridges.
