Hello, I have an issue with my ENVY Pro 6458. Both of the copy lights are stuck on with a 0 in the middle and the info icon lit. The color light on the left is pulsing through various colors. They remain on except when in sleep mode. I printed the info page and everything checks out ok. I tried resetting the printer to no avail. The printer does print. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hi @LadyMarie13,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP ENVY Pro 6458 All-In-One Printer is experiencing an issue with its copy function lights. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this problem:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
2. Reset the Printer
- With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then reconnect it to the printer.
- Turn the printer on.
3. Update the Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can do this by going to the HP support website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer model.
4. Check for Obstructions or Jams
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions that might be causing the issue.
5. Clean the Scanner Glass and ADF
- Dust or smudges on the scanner glass or automatic document feeder (ADF) can cause issues. Clean them with a soft, lint-free cloth.
6. Reset Copy Settings
- Sometimes resetting the copy settings can help. You can do this through the printer's control panel or via the HP Smart app.
7. Perform a Partial Reset
- Turn off the printer.
- Hold down the back button (the one with the arrow icon) while you turn the printer back on. Hold it for about 10-15 seconds until the printer shows a reset menu.
- Select the option to perform a partial reset. This will reset the printer settings to factory defaults but keep network settings intact.
