Hello, I purchased a HP 134X Black High-yield Toner Cartridge back in November 2024. It is supposed to last 2,500 pages. According to the Event log on the HP M234 webserver, after printing page 697 the printer displays a ER11 error and the log recorded a Black Cartridge Memory Error and a 10.0300 code. I have searched HP’s community and tried reseting the printer, cleaning the cartridge contacts, printer contacts, etc and I cannot clear the error. The older cartridge does not generate this error when I swap out the newer cartridge. What is the warranty on a printer cartridge? It is about 4 months old and printed only 697 pages, which is about 27% into its life expectancy. I chose a genuine HP cartridge over a knock-off because of perceived quality. How do I get rid of this error so I can use the remaining 73% of toner? I have tried to register my printer, but when I use the serial number and product ID from the printer and HP Smart App, HP’s website does not recognize this information. Both printer and toner was purchased from Amazon. Amazon points me in the direction of HP for support. Thank you.

if you look at this other thread https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Error-Code-11-M234DWE-Genui...
it appears to be a bug introduced by a firmware upgrade released around March 4th. I have made the admins here aware of the issue and hopefully HP rectifies the situation quickly.
