I am trying to save some paper and ink by printing multiple pages per sheet - 2 pages - on both sides like this from a pdf:
Example

But my printers prints 4 pages  per sheet each and every time like this:
Example
Sometimes the printer does print the desired preferences I set, but it's like after it prints the 4 pages per sheet version. And I cannot print the whole document at once I only need specific pages from it, and it does that each time I stop and pause to select the next group of pages to print.

I have gone through all the settings and printing preferences tried alot of variations to get it to print right, but without success.
These are the settings and preferences that I am choosing. But for some reason they are not being saved for a consecutive printing. Maybe there is a conflict somewhere? Please help!

Hi @Akiko_deskjet,

Thanks for the post.

I see you are getting 4 pages on 1 sheet of paper instead of 2 pages on 1 sheet of paper, is that right.

Thanks for providing the screenshots.

Based on the screenshots, Print setting is correct in the screenshot below.

However, in the next screenshot, you have set to 2 pages instead of leaving it at 1. This makes the printer take 4 sheets in 1 page.

Recommend you to try this and let me know if it resolves the issue you are facing.

Recommend you to leave the printer preferences from devices and printer at defaults.

Yes!

Now it works, it seems that the setting that you mentioned was creating the conflict.

Thank you very much for your fast answer! 🙂
