Hi,
I am desperately stuck.
I own HP PageWide Pro 477dw MFP and all options in the Embedded Web Server are as you see in the screenshot locked.
I forgot my login and Password.
I did a factory reset. The one holding the Power Button and then on the touch screen, when it turns blue the Rest.
I went through the initialization and activated WiFi again and the Embedded Web Server keeps asking for a Password.
I tried:
- Admin/nothing
- Admin/Admin
- ADMIN/nothing
- ADMIN/ADMIN
Can´t be that I am locked out, can configure scan to network, Email anymore, but actually nothing. I hope I can get some support to inhere.

What happens if you click on settings or tools across the top? It is possible that you need to set a password first and then enable those functions under security or access control.

Hi,
since there was already a password set I was blocked out.
i found a ways how to solve it.
i put the bios on a flash drive.
i booted the printer and flashed the bios (with the home back method)
then I made a hardware reset and made sure to do the admin installation to have more options
I then resettled the network settings on the printer
which finally got rid of the login and password of the web interface.
i was then able to reconfigure the emails etc
not really user friendly. Most people will throw that printer away.
