Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my Envy 4520 in 2015 in the States and used it there without any issue until late 2017 when I had to move back to India. I had the printer shipped and it was in the same condition when I picked it up after shipping. 
The printer worked with the same cartridges I had it shipped with until the cartridges dried up/got empty. 

 

The printer needed new cartridges and a quick Google search and verification on the HP Site told me that Envy 4520 used 803 cartridges in India. So I bought them online and popped them right in. But now the printer doesn't recognise the 803 cartridges even though I've changed the settings for "Region" to India on the printer. 

 

What do I do to get the printer to recognise the cartridges and be able to print again?

The cartridges from different zone will not work with the printer. We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

You may send a private message to the HP Facebook Team for help or you can use our other support options.

 

Follow the steps below to reach out to our HP Support team:

 

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter the product number or select to auto detect 
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

Hello,
Thank you for your help. However, I wasn't able to find a phone number to contact HP India Support. I spoke to reps from HP US and they gave me two numbers, both of which are not valid. I don't use FaceBook. So I am still looking for a way to contact support to help me with the Regional Reset. 

 

Can you provide any number/ email for the HP India Support?
