Envy 4520

All of a sudden my Envy 4520 wont load cardstock paper. I have been printing on cardstock for months now all of a sudden it wont, keeps getting the message that there in no paper-that I need to load more. Ive changed the setting to the closet thing to cardstock and still wont print. Any help would be appreciated!

Specifications > Paper Handling

Cards
Up to 200 g/m2 (110 lb index)
Up to 20 cards (17 mm [0.67 inch] stacked)

If you are sure of the settings you are using,

If the "cardstock" media meets (and does not exceed) the weight limitations,

If the same setup has been working for "months",

Then

If you have not done so, consider driver settings:

Media type = Index (Brochure matte may be selected IF the paper weight is not more than 180g/m2)

Source = Tray 1 (as opposed to leaving the setting "automatic" or similar)

Paper Size = "card" paper size as supported (See Specifications)

Borderless = Off

and / or

Printer may be dirty - make sure the ink supply is in good order, clean the rollers, check the paper, Reset the printer, .

Solutions, presented in the order to be completed:

Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

and (includes how to clean the rollers and the Reset option):

'Out of Paper' Displays, Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper

If it is "just" the cardstock that will not load / causes a problem,

consider:

Paper may be too dry or too damp (yes, this is a thing).
