Envy 5020

My printer prints on normal paper fine but when I put in photo paper, it prints about 50cm of the photo and then spews it out, or it just spits it out without any printing (while charging me of course the the print that didn't happen)

Despite an hour of searching and getting false info on loading photo paper, I cannot find a solution.

Any genuine help please.

Thanks

Thanks Betty, so the answer is that the printer will only handle up to 90 g/m3

This info ought have been given in the instructions. Would have saved us some time.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

What's the type and size of photo paper being used?

If you're on a Windows operating system, try these steps: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03422222

Let me know if this helps.

The paper is Premium Glossy  Photo paper. It is A4 and 210g/m3

It would help if you could confirm if the Envy 5020 cannot cope with this quality. All my previous printers have been OK with it.

The weight seems to be an issue here. Refer to the paper-handling information from this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05638804#AbT9

I understand. You may look up product specifications before buying the product.

Thanks 🙂
