EDIT: Got hold of HP CS that stated that since the menu is not accessible even after power rotation (so can't perform factory reset), the printer is probably broken.

----

Printer and Instant Ink have been working fine for a long time, but after a probable blackout the printer apparently reset (was asking to choose a language, a non-techy person was using it and even managed to select a language I don't speak) and after that won't connect nor boot up to change or troubleshoot the settings or connection. The Instant Ink subscription has been active the whole time, but the printer claims that it is not registered. Have completed the remove cord, wait, long press power, connect cord -procedure several times but no avail.
