I have a HP envy 5032 which wont print from either of our two HP laptops, it is connected to wifi, the laptops find the printer and in the HP smart app show's it as ready but when I try to print and error message comes up in the bottom right corner of the screen. I have re-installed the drivers, i have reset the printer but it still does not work. Even with the printer plugged into the laptops with the cable it wont print.
It has never worked with the newer laptop but did work with the older HP laptop but this has now stopped working.
It does however print fine wireless from both Apple and Android phones.

Try assigning a manual IP. Refer to this video link for step by step instructions.
If the issue still persists, try adding a TCP/ IP port -
1) Print a Network Configuration Report from the Printer Settings or Wireless menu.
2) Right-click your printer, select Printer Properties, click the Ports tab and then click Add Port.
3) Select Standard TCP/IP Port, and then click New Port.
4) Follow the instructions to add a new port using the information listed on the Network Configuration Report.
5) Try printing.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues printing from your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check whether the issue is resolved.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

HI
Thanks for your reply, I have followed your instruction and the printer will still not print from a laptop, "Error printing on HP Envy 5000 PCL-3 (network)" comes up in the bottom right. Android is fine for printing.
I can can connect fine and see the ink levels in the HP App
Any more ideas would be appreciated
