I have a brand new Envy 5055 that I purchased in 2019 but never used. However, I pulled the cartridges out of the box to use in another printer that I no longer have, not realizing they were startup cartridges. Now I am trying to setup this 5055 with regular HP cartridges and get an error stating I need the startup cartridges - how do I bypass this?

Hi @Bleep15,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
To Bypass Using Setup Cartridges for HP Envy 5055 Printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
