HP Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just wanted to know the maximum weight or thickness of a single sheet of paper/card stock for my HP Envy 5540 all-in-one printer please.

I am trying to choose some inkjet plain media to print cassette tape covers with.

Is 300 gsm too heavy?

Is 160 gsm suitable?

Thanks for reading

Hi,

Cards are supported from 163 to 200 g/m2 (90 to 110 lb index) for the printer.

You may find the printer specifications below, see 'Paper-handling specifications > Paper tray capacities':

I have tried 200 gsm and 210 gsm but the  card slips the highest I have been able to use is 170 gsm and that prints perfectly
