Envy 6000 printer showing error after inserting new cartridge

Hi, we recently purchased an Envy 6000. Worked perfectly well on the ink cartridges which came with the printer, have just received the new shipment of cartridges. We have tried to put in the colour one but it’s coming up with error. We checked to make sure they are thr correct ones sent, they seem to be - the ones which came  with the printer were smaller versions

Further to my message below, we have just reinserted the old cartridge & it Accepts it with no Error message. 
So it must be something wrong with the cartridge (even though it is labelled as being the correct one for the printer). 
We signed up for the subscription inks sent automatically - how do we get a new ink cartridge & what if it’s the same one which won’t install?
