Hi @Brian1508
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy 6032 printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi despite other devices working fine, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Restart Printer and Router:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Do the same for your router.
- Wait for about a minute, then plug the router back in and wait for it to fully boot up. Then, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
2. Check Network Settings on Printer:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard and select your Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password carefully.
3. Use WPS (if available):
- If your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), press the WPS button on the router and then press the Wi-Fi button on your printer. This can sometimes establish a connection more easily.
4. Reset Network Settings:
- You can reset the network settings on the printer:
- Go to Settings > Network > Restore Network Defaults. This will reset the printer’s network settings and allow you to set it up again.
5. Ensure Correct Wi-Fi Band:
- Make sure your printer is trying to connect to the correct Wi-Fi band. Some printers only support 2.4 GHz networks. If your router has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensure the printer is attempting to connect to the 2.4 GHz network.
6. Check Firewall and Security Settings:
- Temporarily disable any firewall or security settings on your router that may be blocking the printer's connection. If this resolves the issue, you can re-enable them and adjust settings accordingly.
7. Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware updates for your printer.
8. Use the HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer. The app can assist with the printer setup and may help establish the connection.
9. Manual IP Configuration (if comfortable):
- If you’re familiar with network settings, you can assign a static IP address to the printer. Access the printer’s network settings to manually configure the IP.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
