Envy 6234 over saturated, too much contrast no controll?

Hello.

I can return it, as soon as I have the ink to try a few things I will.  I do think that its not faulty as my parents printer does the same thing.  Faces look like fake tan rather than a natural pink tone.  Colour in clothes are too bold.  I took the same pics to my brothers whom also has a HP printer, same issue slightly with his but not intence enough to be too concerned.  When he looked into his colour management he found that his printer automaticaly choose his HP monitor icc  profile?  For my and parents printers there is no profile in there at all. 

I tried changing parents to another icc profile, they only had a default rbg one but the print was the same.  In all tests high quality HP glossy paper was used.  I wil take a picture with my phone side by side the difference between the original image on monitor and printed version.  Of course both images are wrong taken with a phone but the comparitive differences can be seen.

Did you use the driver that came with the printer in the box?

Yes I done the bog standard thing get drivers in, ink,  select the correct paper and quality, and a good photo.

First print was very very bad, second was slightly better switching it from printer colour managment to Photoshop Colour managment, but still way way out.  I tried via another program, same thing.

It looks like the same one that launched from the installation, that is not just the driver its a whole set up from scratch as if the printer is not set up for wifi, but thats all done.

I also downloaded EN6200_Basicx64_44.2.2605 . This installed all fine.  I do think that because both mine and my parents HP pronters both print colour poor they cant both be faulty. I simply need either a proper icc profile or manual adjustments like epson printers have in their drivers.
