I unplugged my printer when I went away. When I plugged it back in, it will not turn on. It is stuck on the HP logo, with a full black bar, and 1 of 7 dots black.

 

The only troubleshooting HP has provided me with is to unplug for 30 seconds and plug back in. Useless, Thanks HP.....

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

 

Also, try connecting the Printer to the wall socket directly and also to a different wall socket directly.

The printer will not turn on past 1 black dot, so I do not know how I can update firmware.

 

I've plugged it into many outlets with no luck.

I'm amazed that the only advice anyone has is to switch power outlets....

If none of the icons are working, you wouldn't be able to perform a reset.
