Hi @Andre2725,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6455e printer is printing in color from smartphones and tablets but not from your Mac with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, it’s likely a driver or print setting issue. Here’s how to troubleshoot it.

Check Print Settings on Mac:

  • When you print a document, open the print dialog on your Mac, and select "Show Details" if available.
  • Ensure "Color" or "Color Options" is selected instead of "Black & White" under the print settings.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Delete the HP Envy 6455e by selecting it and clicking the minus (-) button.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for macOS Sonoma, if available.
  • Re-add the printer by clicking the plus (+) button in Printers & Scanners and selecting your HP Envy 6455e.

Reset the Printing System:

  • In System Settings > Printers & Scanners, right-click (or hold down Control and click) in the Printers list, then select Reset Printing System.
  • This will remove all printers, so you’ll need to re-add the HP Envy 6455e afterward.

Update macOS and HP Software:

  • Check for any macOS updates in System Settings > Software Update.
  • Ensure you have the latest HP Smart app version from the Mac App Store, as it may include updated drivers.

After these steps, test a color print to see if the issue is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
