I just moved and got a new internet provider/router. I have been trying to set up the printer and even though the printer finds my network, it says there is no encryption. That is untrue and it never gives me the option to type in the password.

This didn’t happen when I first set up the printer at my old apartment.

Is there anyway around this problem?

How to restore the 6255 printer to the original network settings.

From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then ( Settings ).

Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset

I’ve done that. The report says my privacy is disabled on my network. Looks like it’s a router problem.
