Hi. I've just started getting the "Cartridge Problem - remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge" on my printer. I went through trouble shooting (cleaned the heads etc) and eventually received a new black cartridge. The error still occurs. The internet seems to suggest this is now a fairly common issue and might be related to a recent firmware update.
I was able to print with just the colour cartridge, but after removing and reinstalling the printer today, I am also getting Instant Ink related issues (printer not recognised in my HP account) and I cant even print using the colour cartridge now.
Presumably I'm still paying for my Ink subscription.
Any ideas? I think I will need to buy a new printer, as this had already wasted hours of my time. Shame, it was a great printer for 3 years and seems to have failed for non-mechanical reasons now that it is out of warranty.
