Envy Photo 7830

Hello!

I have an Envy Photo 7830 printer and, all of a sudden, the built-in screen has gone completely off, black.

The printer still works, but I am unable to tell, for example, how much ink i have remaining and, of course, send faxes.

I have downloaded the update firware utility and the firmware appears to be current.

Any ideas? Would a reset be useful? If so, how can I do it?

Hello again.

I am writing from Spain and it appears that for out-of-warranty products I have to pay in order to contact HP via phone... without even knowing if my issue will be solved!
