Printer is not on Wi-Fi by choice. I use only a USB cable to my laptop. It prints (only) one page and then I get the E4 jam code. There is NO jam anywhere and I've cleaned the rollers, etc. I must then essentially reset the printer using HP's power cord instructions...this may clear the E4 code. I can then again print (only) one page....and get the E4 code once again. And so on, in an endless cycle of disconnecting the power cord, waiting, reconnecting, printing one page and getting the E4 afterward, yet agaon. The ONLY way to turn the printer off is to disconnect its power. If I use the printer's on/off button to turn Off, it does cycle down....and the control panel lights do shut off. BUT, I then have a blue/green(?) edge light that alternates from fully wide across the light bar to just **bleep** center area....and I can't find a correlation to that in the manual.

Hi @Glasat,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're facing a persistent issue with your printer, specifically encountering an E4 jam code after printing one page. Additionally, you've mentioned a blue/green edge light that alternates, and you're unsure about its significance.
I understand you are not able to use the printer due to this false error.
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - An 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

The "An 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam)." link goes to a "Were sorry. We can't find the page you're looking for". Disappointing.
The original post is only 7 days old. Rachel571, do you have an updated link/address for the instructions?
Thank you,
