Hi @Kenny1119,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When your HP Envy Photo 7134 printer is stuck in the boot-up process and the power button doesn't respond, it can be concerning. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:
1. Perform a Power Reset
Unplug Power Cord:
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and from the power outlet.
Wait for a Few Minutes:
- Allow the printer to sit idle for about 5-10 minutes to discharge any residual power.
Reconnect and Power On:
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and then into the power outlet.
- Turn on the printer using the power button.
2. Check for Physical Obstructions
- Inspect Printer Interior:
- Open any accessible printer covers or trays and check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or obstructions that may be hindering the startup process.
- Clear any obstructions carefully following the printer's manual instructions.
3. Update Firmware
- Firmware Update:
- Visit the HP Support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Envy Photo 7134 printer.
- Download and install the latest firmware update following the provided instructions.
4. Perform a Hard Reset (if necessary)
- Hard Reset:
- If the printer remains unresponsive after a power reset, perform a hard reset:
- Press and hold the power button on the printer for about 10-15 seconds until the printer powers off.
- Release the power button.
- Wait for a few seconds, then press the power button again to turn on the printer.
- If the printer remains unresponsive after a power reset, perform a hard reset:
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
