Hi @adminP,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP LaserJet 1008w printer is showing Error 11-1114 and is not printing. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

a. Power Cycle Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.

Wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

This helps clear temporary system or firmware glitches.

b. Check Toner Cartridge

Open the top cover and remove the toner cartridge.

Check for any protective tape, paper debris, or dust on the toner contacts.

Reinsert the toner firmly until it clicks into place.

c. Verify Paper and Tray

Make sure there is no paper jam or misalignment in the input tray.

Remove all paper, fan the stack, and reload it properly.

d. Reset Printer Network (if using Wi-Fi)

Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 10 seconds until the light starts blinking.

This resets the wireless settings — then reconnect the printer through the HP Smart app or your computer.

e. Update Firmware

Connect the printer to your computer via USB cable.

Go to HP Support → Software & Drivers → HP LaserJet 1008w and download the latest firmware update.

Run the firmware tool to update the printer.

I hope this helps.
