HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w

Hello Community !
I have a problem: After replacing a formater board my printer starts to be detected as NS MFP 1005w instead NS MFP 1200w and returns the error E12 (incompatible drum).

Looks like something wrong with my new formater board. Is it any way to patch it to be 1200w.

Thanks and Regards,
Nazar

What part number did  you order? Units likely use different part numbers and you have the wrong one. Slim chances that HP has a firmware fix for that.

Hi @Repairatrooper,

Before ordering a new formatter board, i provided serial number and model of my printer from back label, and also photo/serial of my Formatter board.

My old Formatter board:

The new one:

The new one is real visually similar, but looks like FW is for NS MFP 1005w. I checked  1005w and 1200w has diffident  Imaging Drum (HP 109A vs HP 104A), so error#12 is suitable here if formatter board operates for 1005w but Drum is for 1200w.

Thanks,
Nazar

So the part number ordered and the one you received are the same? I asked for the partnumber for a reason and I am not sure why you did not answer my question.

also i see that per https://www.partshere.com/ Formater board 4RY26-60001 is compatible with:

so does it means that i can switch 1005w to 1200w by some fw update?
