Hi @Femolala1 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting an error 59C0 on an HP LaserJet Pro MFP 283 printer typically indicates a fuser error. The fuser is responsible for bonding the toner to the paper, and this error suggests there might be a problem with the fuser unit or its components.

Here’s how you can address it:

  • Turn Off the Printer: Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Leave it unplugged for about 60 seconds.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Look for any paper jams or obstructions in the printer, especially around the fuser area. Carefully remove any jammed paper.
  • Inspect the Fuser: If you’re comfortable, open the printer’s access panels to locate the fuser unit. Check for any visible damage or loose connections. Refer to your printer’s manual for guidance on accessing and inspecting the fuser.
  • Reset the Printer: After checking for jams and inspecting the fuser, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Update Firmware: Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve issues related to hardware errors. Check HP’s website for any available firmware updates for your printer model and install them if applicable. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Replace the Fuser: If the error persists and you’ve confirmed there are no jams or visible issues, the Fuser unit may need to be replaced.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
