Hi @Stania,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error 75 on a LaserJet printer typically indicates a problem with the paper feed or paper jam. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
- Check for paper jams: Open all the access doors and trays of the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for removing paper jams.
- Verify the paper size and type: Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer driver or control panel match the paper loaded in the tray. Mismatched settings can cause paper jams.
- Reload the paper tray: Remove the paper from the tray and then reinsert it, making sure the stack of paper is properly aligned and not too thick. Adjust the paper guides to fit the width of the paper stack.
- Clean the paper path: Dust and debris can accumulate inside the printer and interfere with the paper feed. Use a lint-free cloth or compressed air to clean the paper path, including the rollers and feed mechanism.
- Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches causing the error.
- Update or reinstall the printer driver: Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause various issues. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest driver for your printer model, or try reinstalling the existing driver.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
