A bit of disclosure: I bought the said printer at Staples around a month ago, and I am a bit set back that its warranty has already expired.
I successfully connected the printer to my main network and used it for almost a month with no problems whatsoever.
After I moved it to a new location with a new Wi-Fi router, I followed the procedure to reset Wi-Fi (5s hold the i button, then click Wi-Fi and X buttons).
After that, every attempt to connect the printer results in Error 79 at the last step of connection. I have to turn off the router to go for a new try. Ethernet connection does not help at all. If I restart the printer after an error 79, it is indeed connected to the network, but it doesn't work and doesn't respond even to a Copy button.
When trying to connect using Wi-Fi direct option, I get a Bluetooth Error for some reason:
I understand this might be a firmware error, but how do I update the firmware in this case?
Thank you!
[UPD1] I am trying the setup process with both macOS laptop and iPhone.
[UPD2] Even when I put the printer to WifI discovery mode, then restart and use Ethernet, I still have like 5-10 seconds when it is responsive to say, Copy button and that's all.
