Out of curiosity, what country/region does everyone's display in the Printer information part on the HP smart program? mine is showing United Arab Emirates and also the product number in the same info area doesn't match what it says on the printer label. Should be 6GX01F but is showing 6GX01A. Unsure if either of these would cause an issue?

My M234dwe stopped on me from past 5 days with "Er 11", installed 134X legit cartridge purchased around $100 from Best Buy back in Dec'2024 and printed around 120 pages. Now this error keeps popping up and performed all the stupid steps HP Website / Support personal asked me to do so, no luck. Purchased 134A again from HP Store > Amazon and yet no luck by spending $55.

 

After seeing this thread, I can surely feel this is forced by HP for all their customers with this printer started getting error message.

 

HP MUST ACT AND FIX THE ISSUE; else I will go with Consumer Protection.

I agree with all of this. I'll be making sure that everyone knows about this issue and that HP blocks support behind $100 payment when you're out of warranty, which is asinine.

I wrote in duplicate thread that HP revised the firmware to an older version from 2024. But that didn't successfully roll back the firmware on the printer.

 

Heck - even my replacement brother has a setting on the printer to "allow firmware downgrades." 

 

You'd think with the advancements in technology things would get better. They are only getting better for those who profit from selling them. Not who uses them, that's for sure.

I am having this same issue as others with my M209dw with the same firmware update that was pushed to my device by HP.

 

My printer is now a brick and needs to be fixed or replaced by HP ASAP! This is now impacting my business and with no way to contact HP. Nothing will work it only gives errors when trying to contact support. As if they have blocked all of us from reaching them. We need someone to step in and investigate HP and what they have done and continue to do or not do.
