Hi @Wm0370,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error Code 59.C0 on the HP Color LaserJet MFP M281 usually indicates a fuser error. This can occur after removing a paper jam if something was disturbed or if there's a residual issue with the fuser assembly. Here’s how you can troubleshoot.

  • Turn Off and Unplug: Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
  • Check the Fuser: The fuser is a component inside the printer that helps to bond the toner to the paper. Ensure it’s properly seated. If the fuser is loose, gently press it back into place. If you see any paper or debris around it, remove it carefully.
  • Inspect for Obstructions: Double-check the paper path for any remaining debris or paper fragments. Make sure nothing is obstructing the movement of the fuser.
  • Reset the Printer: After checking the fuser, reset the printer by turning it off, waiting a few minutes, and then turning it back on.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve unexpected errors. Visit the HP website to check if there’s an update available for your printer model.
  • Replace the Fuser: If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, the fuser might need replacement.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
