After 10 years of operation we suddenly get Error Code 59.F0 on HP Color LaserJet CP5225.
In addition when printing A3 the page looks like we are out of toner while all are about at half capacity. And when printing A4 on A4 paper or A4 centered on A3 paper the print quality is normal. In any case the error appears after printing and disappears only after Power Off/On.
The solution is to update the DCC firmware as described here:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Printer-Error-59-F0-can-t-print/td-p/7447994
(get the fileDCCV1_51.prn from the dropbox account).
It is a little disturbing that the file appears to apply to other printers, but I can confirm it works for CP5225. We installed following method 3 (because the printer has not a USB port or a FTP server). We were able to send the file over the network by sharing an existing printer on a Windows.10 machine. After sending the file the printer display says it's updating and it never seems to complete. We waited 15 minutes. Then turned off/on power and the printer appears to print A3 normally without errors.
HP: it appears your printers have a shared controller with faulty firmware. We are a little upset that the error code suggests an expensive repair is needed and the firmware update is only disclosed on this forum and the update is excluded from a normal firmware update. We do hope that this is not intentional.

The 59.F0 your printer model is caused by solenid issue, but if you manaeged to fix it with with DCC file it's very strange especially if the printer will contine to work for a longer period.
