Hi @MrDood,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code B8157FF2 on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9012 All-In-One Printer indicates a problem with the printer's firmware or connectivity. To resolve this error, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.
- Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
- Update the firmware: Outdated firmware can sometimes cause errors. Visit the HP Support website (support.hp.com) and search for your printer model. Look for any available firmware updates and follow the instructions provided to update the printer's firmware.
- Check network connectivity: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your network. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the signal strength is strong. If you are using a wired connection, check the Ethernet cable connections.
- Restart your network devices: Restart your modem and router to refresh the network connection. Sometimes, network issues can interfere with the printer's functionality.
- Reset the printer: If the previous steps didn't resolve the issue, you can try resetting the printer to its default settings. Refer to the printer's user manual or the HP Support website for instructions on how to perform a reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
