Hi @VJTR,
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer.
The steps that can be tried to resolve this issue are as below:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Check for any paper jams or foreign objects inside the printer and make sure the print carriage is moving freely.
Perform step 1 mentioned in this document.
If the issue persists, leave the printer unplugged overnight and try to power it ON again.

Reset the printer without ink cartridges installed
Clear the error by resetting the printer without the ink cartridges.

Open the cartridge access door or lid.

If the carriage moves to the center of the printer, continue with these steps.

If the carriage does not move to the center of the printer, close the access door or lid. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and power source, wait 60 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to the printer and a wall outlet. Turn the printer on, and then continue with these steps.

Remove the cartridges.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the power source.
-
Wait 60 seconds.
-
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and the printer.
NOTE:HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Turn the printer on.
-
Reinsert the cartridges, and then close the cartridge access door or lid.

Follow the steps to align the printer, if prompted.
