OfficeJet 8015

An error code is regularly appearing on the screen of my printer and the lights flash and blink.

The message that appears on the screen is:

'ERROR CODE 0XB805B2B8'

The printer until recently was failing to produce full colour (despite all inks being full). I bought new ink, cleaned the points on the printer where the ink is dispensed, I did numerous printhead cleans and print quality reports. Eventually, the inks worked (not perfectly but a lot better and the Magenta was finally working having not done so before). I'm not sure if the Error code appearing is related to this issue or not.

But the Error code is still appearing and when it does it means I can't print.

Can anyone help?

@PaulyC0001, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are getting this error on the printer screen. Let us reset the printer to its factory settings to resolve this issue.

  • From the printer control panel display, touch Setup
  • Touch  Tools, touch Restore Factory Defaults and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: You may have to reconnect the printer to the wireless network after the reset. If this does not help, we will have to perform a semi-full reset. Let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.
