Hi guys,

since yesterday I get error message on the display of my LaserJet - it shows repeatedly  03 and then 9° (please note - the zero after the 9 is a small one in the upper corner and not a normal zero) and it doesnt print. The computer cant find it over usb. I tried restoring the factory settings and installing it again, but the problem persists. I searched the error codes, but couldn't find this one.

Here you can find a video of the error message: https://youtu.be/-yCyGfkeluk

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

This condition occurs when the printer is too hot to continue printing. To resume printing, wait for the printer to cool down.

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
