HP ENVY Photo 6230 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP Community, 👋

Need some advice really.....over the last 2 weeks my HP Photo Envy 6230 Printer has come up with these codes 0X6201922A (lots of times) and 0X89E60250 along with flashing lights on the little touch screen plus I have also had a black screen with a white stripe and flashing lights.

I have already looked up these codes and did all the steps etc... in order to clear the codes.

I got this printer back in 2019, it's just getting really frustrating  now as I need my printer for everything......now shall I just keep clearing the codes all the time or do you think I should get a new printer?

Thanks for your help 🙂

Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove the USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

That's fine it was a paper jam issue, thankyou, I would love to keep things updated with my printer how ever I can't as the last update was back in 2022. I will just keep going with it for now.
