Got an error code apparently no one has ever seen before, B8E1DDB8, while the printer blue screens when attempting install.

Amazing. Simply incredible how HP continues to innovate with failure.

Here are some troubleshooting tips for anyone who has this problem, or any other routine problems with HP printers:

Step 1. Junk them, they're garbage

Step 2. Buy a Brother printer, they're much better

I have been troubleshooting this printer for four hours. No set of driver packages, no software program works. HP Print and Scan Doctor? Worthless. It will literally just lead me to a 404 screen on HP's own webpage HP Smart? Laughably bad.

Chat tech support did nothing. They actually led me to blue screen this thing in the first place then ended the chat.

I literally just ripped this worthless, garbage printer apart, am going to buy a Brother printer tomorrow, and will probably just start mailing HP the broken pieces of this garbage printer so their mail room staff can laugh about what an awful company they work for before tossing their awful products in the garbage.

Seriously. HP, you are terrible. Why didn't I listen to literally everyone on every forum everywhere and buy a Brother?
