I use a Mac Book with the Ventura OS, which was not one of the options for joining this forum. I selected Monterey, but I'm running Ventura.
I am the sole user and administrator of this computer and printer. I successfully set up my HP LaserJet M234. The problem is that when I try to cancel a job I get this message: “Unable to delete “Microsoft Word document. You must be an administrator to delete this job.” The only option is to click OK. There is no option for entering a password. I talked to HP tech help, and he said it is an Apple issue. I talked to Apple, and they have never seen this problem.

Same issue here.
The command cancel -a -x on the terminal allows to kill the waiting jobs.
Weird though that this happens.
MacOS Ventura 13.5.1, printing a PDF through Preview. The printer is a E77830 Laserjet Flow.
