Hello ,
I am gettting an error while trying to print on my HP printer from my Laptop. It throws an error - "Unable to Print, Attention Required". The printer is working when I try to print anything from my mobile.
It is connected to the same network as my laptop is connected. I tried installing the drivers again, it dint help. I have recently unsubscribed from HP Instant ink and replaced with normal cartridges.
I have tried deleting the files in this folder too - %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers.
Can you please help me understand the error and how to resolve the issue.

Two things to try: 1)download the printer software again on the laptop. Drivers are part of the software. Go to 123.HP.com (while modem and printer are turned on). It will automatically find the computer and download/install. It should overwrite so not needed to uninstall first.
2) your computer may not be wirelessly connected to the printer. Reboot the modem, printer and computer by turning off, leaving off 60 seconds and power up in that order. Let each boot up (no flashing lights) before the next one.

You apparently have already tried to clear the print queue.
Clear print jobs in the queue in the HP Printer Assistant, which is located in the Charms, left click on the Windows Logo key (lower left on the keyboard). Scroll to HP > HP Envy 5660 series (which has a pic of the printer). Left click to open the HP Printer Assistant. Click on "See What's Printing" which shows the queue; delete any showing.

Thank you for all the solutions. I actually followed all steps.
1. Installed the drivers again.
2. Restarted modem, system etc.
It still was not working.
3. Finally I ran the scan doc which said that file sharing is disabled in my computer!!!! :smileyembarrassed:
I am not sure when it was changed because I have been printing from this laptop for a long time.. anyways I have it fixed now with the help of HP scan doc.
Thanks for your suggestion!!
